Bandwidth Foundry International can also provide
a limited amount of Education and Training to a few selected postgraduate
students at Australian Universities.
However, cleanroom laboratories are very
expensive to operate and their use by large numbers of students ‘en masse’ is
not appropriate because of space considerations, sensitivity to contamination
and Occupational Health and Safety issues.
Teaching and training can only be in very small
closely supervised groups, which is staffing intensive. Hence, there is a need for very careful
planning to maximize the potential usage of facilities.
Those planning to use our facilities should
advise us well in advance of the developments in their curricula and where it
is intended that Bandwidth Foundry International would be involved. We may only be able to accommodate a few such
requests at certain times of the year for a small number of people. For example a group size would be a maximum
of 4 people. Charges will apply for access,
equipment usage, teaching, supervision by staff as well as consumables.
If you are planning or developing a postgraduate
course which you would like to have access to our facilities, please contact us
by phone in the first instance. [click here for the contact details page]
